While pursuing medicine at Johns Hopkins University, Janice Min came across a movie production in Baltimore starring Renee Zellweger, "My One and Only." After spending the summer color-correcting set photos for DP Marco Pontecorvo to send as references to a colorist in Los Angeles, she continued onward to join Local 600 and the Society of Camera Operators as a steadicam/camera operator for motion pictures and television and as an emerging director of photography.

Most recently, she completed work with Lawrence Sher, ASC on features such as "Joker: Folie a Deux" starring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga, Paul Thomas Anderson’s latest feature starring Leonardo DiCaprio and the Disney+ Star Wars series, “Ahsoka.” What remains of utmost importance is creating visually compelling images that linger in audiences' minds while also championing the advancement of women and diversity in the world of cinema.
